Funny thing

I've had emails from a number of social networking sites using similar tactics. Can't wait to see who gets bitch-slapped in court next.

And I never mis-read their request for access to my contacts. Maybe I'm smarter that Mr. Cuomo, but the only reasons for a 'social' website to access your contacts are 1) to see if any of your contacts are also members, allowing you to send more ad-sidebar'd messages, and 2) to send all of your other contacts invitations to allow the same.

At one point last year, I was a member of more than a dozen such sites, and now, I'm a member of two and will be at zero before then end of the year.

Maybe I'm anti-social, but I'm not stupid.
