Fujitsu strike action ahoy
Fujitsu is facing likely strike action. The Unite union is balloting its 1,500 members at the firm next week. The union believes cuts to pensions and pay will slash about 20 per cent from its members' total pay packages. The vote begins 12 October, and the result should be known by 30 October. Fujitsu are threatening 1200 cuts, or 10% of the workforce. The union are balloting their 1500 members for strike action. That makes me work out that the union represents 12.5% of Fujitsu staff. Strike action will hardly bring the company to its knees?
And probably give management a good list of names to apply the 1200 cuts to..

That all depends on where they work doesn't it. Fujitsu is an IT provider for some major companies and Government contracts, if the IT support for these clients suffers, it will not look good for Fujitsu.

Unless you work for one of the Fujitsu teams who fix PCs in HMRC offices or remotely from at least two different locations I won't mention.
WTF as you obviously don't know squat about who looks after HMRC computers.
