The European Union is making good progress on data protection, with most institutions now meeting requirements - although Community agencies are doing less well. Its all well and good putting procedures in place
Is anyone going to follow them and more importantly is anyone going to enforce them.
Although the EU has a slightly better reputation of this than the British Government has
