Internet queries

I'll be waiting for the unification of Wolfram Alpha and Google, so that when I type "Where's the good stuff?", the uber-search engine understands exactly what "stuff" I mean and will point me to the nearest provider, with photos and all.

That will be the real Deep Thought (DNA had to rephrase the Throat part, and so will Google and Wolfram). Hopefully results will come faster than the original imaginary one.

"arse-obscuring tech" LOL, what 's next Google-arse? Would have thought there is an obvious method for obscuring arses, well for a couple of minutes anyway.

Paris, whose arse has never been obscured

Check out the wheel blurring...

Nice to see Google on form today :)

If you take the "Better Angle from steogede" above,

http://tinyurl.com/better-angle

and scroll to the right (so the north indicator turns from 2 o'clock to 11 o'clock), you can see Google's beta wheel blurring tech working nicely on the blue beemer.

Shame about el pimpe left out in the open?!

hold it together

It appears that 2 of the woman in the bottom photo are standing in such a way that they are worried about losing their 'deposits' from previous clients.

Maybe the other woman can look in one of the bags and find a dribble jar!

Paul

which makes me wonder...

Which makes me wonder: could we not have used kerb-crawling laws to get rid of those damn cars in the UK? Too late now.

(Like most of us, I'm against authoritarian legislation, except when it can be used against things I don't like!)

Ian Ferguson

Just had an idea

Alert

I've just been struck by inspiration.

If I don't want my privacy invaded by Google, there's an easy solution: Paste posters of my face ALL over my house!

Then Street View will show nothing more than a giant blur where my house was.

"arse-obscuring tech"

I'd imagine that any "arse-obscuring tech" might also obscure any cracks in the road, too.

How come us Limeys get pictures of drunks in the street, and they get bikini babes?

Apart from the weather of course....

Stop

"If I don't want my privacy invaded by Google, there's an easy solution: Paste posters of my face ALL over my house!

Then Street View will show nothing more than a giant blur where my house was."

So then we'd all know where you live - the only house with blurred faces all over it. As things stand, there might be a picture of your house on the internet but nobody knows it's yours, so your privacy is perfectly in tact. Streetview != privacy invasion. Please get that straight.

(And no, I don't work for Google)

It's statistics at work - what's in the street most of the time is what'll get snapped most... ;-)

Terrible

I think it's shocking that Sr and Sra Parqueluz have to deal with this sort of thing in front of their house at 12 Calle del Valle de Tobalina.

Just hanging up the coat to join the beach party
