Removed? I think not!
Google have removed two of the closest camera shots of the lad relieving himself. Just go up the road 2 clicks due East (to outside the petrol station), rotate the camera back on yourself and there he still is. Anyone for a quick encore of "He's behind you!".

Why?
Why do Google remove the WHOLE image for dodgy content? Why don't they just Photoshop out the offending area?
If a decent Photoshop job is too much effort just a small patch over the offending area, leaving the rest of the image viewable would be fine.
Seems odd to completely remove the whole image just for a few hundred square pixels.

...Google Streetview also offered up pictures of naked children playing in their back garden. Now I thought that ownership of such material constituted possession of child pornography.

You can positively identify someone be other means than their face. Such as that shirt.
Lessons learned...
I must remember if I'm ever given the opportunity, to hold my hand away from my face to prevent it from getting blurred when giving the Google car "the Vs"
It's not that I'm concerned about street view and privacy because I'm not. It's just that it would be virtually impossible for me to NOT give the car the middle finger or the Vs or pull a mooney if it did pass by.
To be honest I'm shocked by the small amount of people (so far) pictured doing so.

Proof then, if any is needed that working for El Reg isn't an overly lucrative choice of career.

A few friends have managed to find themselves, and then post relevant links.
It is quite fun really.
I am waiting for my home town to come on, I should find my car on twice.
To be honest it is a piece of fun and not snooping, it is nice though to see what other towns are like.
