Although most of the things that Microsoft does are illicit, I wonder whether you meant "elicit"?
Numbers are definitely down and there are far fewer tyre-kickers which is good. If it's any consolation, the lack of titillation provided by the purveyors of images with excessive skin tones is easily made up for by the aggressive prostitutes outside of the show that make you feel like you have to choose between a dose and death. As usual, lots of people have lost laptops and had their pockets picked. This form of theft has also been supported by another form of theft called Hotel tariffs.
I’ve been attending this show for 10 years and I have to say it’s brilliant for business, networking and learning about what’s new. Perhaps, and given the reduced attendance, it could be moved to somewhere other than Barcelona next year. I appreciate the benefit hosting it in a warm’ish climate so maybe it could stay in Southern Europe, perhaps by the Sea, somewhere like ... errrmmm .. .Cannes!
As a method of keeping Zero and the letter O from being confused, putting a slash through the number was standard practice long before electronic communication.
Unfortunately, this practice extends to the fonts on cell phones, making "0" and "8" very difficult to distinguish.
So?... any cell wonks that read this, please fix.

We've not been able to identify the driver behind this particular trend: We're not aware of the credit crunch driving the purveyors of mobile porn out of business, so perhaps they've just signed up the network operators and have no reason to make the trek out of Barcelona. For this year at least
Is that really the case, or just the fact that phones like the android and iphone, make porn completely accessible in a better way than WAP online. Sites like http://ipinkvisual.com offering free iphone porn have seem to taken off over the year.
