Thanks to Macworld's iPhone Central, we learn today that Apple has purchased full-page ads in both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal that include the news - in small print at the bottom of the ads - that the iTunes App Store has now distributed "over 300 million" iPhone apps from a total of "over 10,000" titles …

Why does the UK top 25 have so many bad apps in it? Like the #3 Paid App is "Night Camera" which is rated 2.5/5 and has a load of poor reviews... Are people really that stupid that they buy badly rated apps?

I think these top 25s are really flawed, there's something certainly odd about them anyway...

Pandora Radio useless link

I clicked on the Pandora Radio link in the story, got presented with a box saying they couldn't find iTunes on my PC. Too right, not letting that heap of steaming closed shop useless shite anywhere near my lappie. Couldn't be arsed after that.

Proof?

It's an ad, and wholly dependent on unverifiable information. A bit like MS stating that Vista was their most secure OS ever (whoehahahaha). The fact that the number has gone up is not proof either..

Sounds like a check with Advertising Standards to me..
