Enough already! Sarah who?
The election's been and gone. Like yesterday, man...
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 19:33 GMT
is that so many still voted for her.
I'd like to give Republican voters the benefit of the doubt though and think that they were voting against Obama rather than voting for McPalin.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 19:33 GMT
but who exactly chose her as a candidate then? I think the genius who suggested her needs outing as much as her lack of knowledge
PH? Cos at least she knows where London is.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 19:46 GMT
Lets not forget the GWB lasted a double term on probably even less knowledge. The American people get the president they deserve.
The American public obviously do deserve more and luckily they now finaly realise it.
Or maybe ignorance is a winning combination and McCain and Palin just got their roles reversed and messed up the winning formula?
Paris because she probably knows more than Palin does. At least Paris has travelled the world. (Palin - world? You know that big round thing)
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 19:57 GMT
Half of America seems to think Europe is one as well.
Charles Manning certainly has a point - and remember, this is the Obama who thought there were 57 states in the US, then wanted to go and make demands of the President of Canada. At least Palin's ignorance was of a *foreign* country...
Paris, because she managed to come up with a more coherent energy policy than Obama, too.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 19:58 GMT
I'm happy to see her face for another week in order for the press to utterly destroy any credibility this woman may have ever had. This way we won't see her again in 4 or 8 years and she can disappear into the obscurity she so richly deserves.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 19:58 GMT
I saw one video of some crackpots making statements about Obama being Muslim (uh huh...) and Palin being blessed with the Holy Spirit. No doubt she's blessed with something but it sure ain't the Holy Spirit.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 20:33 GMT
Something about vice president candidates ?
Dan Quayle anyone
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 20:45 GMT
Palin shouldn't be made fun of. She obviously has suffered a massive cervical trauma and needs some neurological help. Or the probing went to far during her last abduction. Or she wasn't properly thawed after her latest rampage on moose and bears...
Or maybe she should be put out of her misery (for our own sake).
As said above, that in the US "she's at least as stupid and ignorant as I am" can be seen as worthwhile qualities in a potential leader is quite frightening.

Well given that it's clear that the president of the US and his vice are just puppets, while the real power is in the hands of others who control them through 'advisors', it doesn't really matter how ignorant the president is, actually for the powers behind the scenes an ignorant president is easier to manipulate than an intelligent one.
Bush has been a good example for the fact that anyone, even someone who can't hold a sentence together without reading it from a screen, can be president...
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 22:07 GMT
What exactly has a "cervical trauma" got to do with her being brain dead? Are you are saying that all women are not intelligent?
OR
You may have meant “cerebral trauma”?
PH as she has probably had a blunt instrument used to cause a “cervical trauma”
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 22:07 GMT
At least Palin can probably tell the difference between APEC and OPEC... Just as long as she doesn't think it's GregoryPec.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 22:07 GMT
Douglas Adams* mentioned the point of a president is to draw attention away from power rather than actually wield it - though to be fair he was referring to the President of the Universe
:)
* Yes I know!

She is smart enough to know that the world was created in six days that dinosaurs didn't exist and that it is perfectly acceptable to shoot and kill animals for fun.
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 22:07 GMT
Ya, we have seen Dan Potato(e) Quayle, and Ronald (I forgot my name) Reagan, and Shoot em in the face Cheney, and now I didn't know Africa was a continent Palin, and of course George, put food on your family Bush Jr.
The only people who would vote for such losers are even bigger losers themselves.
Lets not forget that Reagan spend the last 4 years of his presidency delusional and forgetful - protected by his advisors. His Alzheimers condition was the only think that kept him from being impeached for his criminal Iran Contra involvement.
More recently the current war criminal in the White House, was overdosing on Oxycotyn during his first 4 years in office, delusional, and speaking to Gawad.
During these last 4 years in office Bush was switched to Ritalin as his drug of choice.

Evidence is starting to come out that these allegations are coming from McCain aids "getting back" at Palin for not following the script during the campaign. McCain made a sharp left turn to go for the "squishy middle" vote (a proven loser, which is another story) but had to have a conservative as veep to avoid losing the Republican party's conservative base. (For non-Americans, "Republican" and "conservative" are not synonymous. There are liberal Republicans (called RINOS) -- more, lately -- and conservative Democrats (called "Blue Dog"). Very few political issues are black-and-white.) Whatever one might think of conservatives, Palin truly is one, and McCain is not.
So McCain said carefully crafted things designed to appeal to the middle-left, and Palin spoke her mind instead of her cue cards, and the McCain campaign got pissed off. The goal of a few Republican middle-wigs and former McCain campaigners now appears to be to spoil Palin's future chances of running for anything more lofty than her present position as Alaska's governor. (A politician telling an outright lie to a news organization -- who woulda thunk it?)
I'm currently registered Democrat, (voted for Hillary in the primaries) and will probably go back to Libertarian now, but it's apparent even to me that the Republican party is in terrible disarray, caused primarily by a bunch of old fogeys who won't lead and won't get the hell out of the way. A bunch of entrenched lifetime politicians and their flappers who don't know how to be anything other than the minority party. A party that thinks fielding boring codgers like Bob Dole and John McCain as presidential candidates is a good idea.
Younger, more vital and articulate Republicans are naturally going to run into trouble with their party's machine, and we're seeing some of that here. For the party to ever have a prayer of being relevant again, it needs to be cored and rebuilt. The next election will be fought in the primaries, and if the old school prevails, the 'Pubs will field another tepid loser.
There are a few people fighting back:

And what do you reckon history will claim as the excuses for self-confessed "religious nutter" and hopefully soon to be tried war crinimal Tony Bliar, and his third time lucky crony Mandelson?
Where's the "hang em high" icon? Will Paris do? OK, a gravestone it is then.

...certainly no "journalist", doesn't bother noting that all this shit is coming from the lefty fringe of the JOHN MCCAIN election group THAT LOST AN ELECTION TO AN ADMITTED SOCIALIST, admitted Coke and other drug user, who cavorts with American Anarchists, Socialists and Black Racists and with who told all the idiots in America that he WILL raise your taxes!! You have to be F*&king Morons to lose to Obama ... which is what they ARE and are now trying to - 1) find a patsy, 2) keep Palin, a REAL CONSERVATIVE, from becoming the conservative ranks cover girl because SHE IS MORE POPULAR (the huge crowds ARE THE PROOF) than McCanned was!
These center-left leaning "RINO" A-holes that McCanned is a big part of ,are afraid of losing their authority in the Republican Party to someone like Palin .... who is a hell of a lot smarter than Cade and all the other a-holes in the lefty media.
So you going to censor this too, Reg jerks?
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 23:16 GMT
Odd that the Republicans of all people should buy into "government by the people, for the people" and pick a bigoted and staggeringly ignorant Hockey Mom as a representative representative [sic].
Posted Thursday 6th November 2008 23:31 GMT
'Fox News'
Sorry but at that point all credibility flew out the window, Palin has just gone up a few points in my estimation purely because of the 'source'.
Lies, damn lies and Fox

@ "all this shit is coming from the lefty fringe of the JOHN MCCAIN election group THAT LOST AN ELECTION TO AN ADMITTED SOCIALIST"
As Kurtz used to say:
"The Horror. The Horror!"
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 01:33 GMT
I know picked da Hawkey Marm to be VP. That was done by advisors who likely aren't much brighter than she is. In the entire GOP group running for president the brightest of the lot were very likely Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. Romney was sunk because the religiosity vote was split and Paul was far too honest.
That said, Obama had promise until he picked Joe "Uber Nanny" Biden. Seriously, Biden isn't any prize either. This is a guy who wants to control damn near every aspect of your life. He was one of the large group who voted to make it easier to walk away from a mortgage than file for bankruptcy, not that it was the straw that broke the credit camel's back... it's more like the IED that blasted the poor camel in thirty two.
There is just one overarching question, who is a racist misogynist to vote for?
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 07:41 GMT
James, Ron Christian and Webster Phreaky - that's President Obama to you.
:D
Get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pity...

The dumb tart will probably confuse the date of the next election as a tad after 10 past 8 in the evening and completely forget to run next time.
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 07:41 GMT
You really are gunning for that FOTW gong, aren't you?
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 07:41 GMT
> What exactly has a "cervical trauma" got to do with her being brain dead?
Well, her head is clearly planted in her nether regions ... Why anyone, anywhere (other than in Alaska, where men are men and critters run scared) would be even remotely attracted/interested in the useless bimbo is beyond me ... McCain needs his head examined. Or to drift into obscurity, which ever comes first.
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 07:41 GMT
No, not "flame" - "fuckwit".
I knew WP was a certifiable loon, but now I have confirmation that he's also a moron.
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:06 GMT
Surely that should be "President Elect"? I was under the impression that the title of "President" comes once having been sworn in?
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:06 GMT
I have to pull you up on this one---
"(Palin - world? You know that big round thing)"
She thinks it is flat.
Paris - because unlike Palin's world, she IS flat.
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:06 GMT
"...doesn't bother noting that all this shit is coming from the lefty fringe of the JOHN MCCAIN election group..."
So what? They're still Republicans, and she's a dangerously parochail liability to a party that wants to get elected.
"...LOST AN ELECTION TO AN ADMITTED SOCIALIST..."
Why in pity's name is admitting to being a socialist worthy of capital emphasis? You fling the word about like it's an insult and a crime. Do you even know what it means? How broad a Church it is? Or are you as ignorant as the woman you are incoherently trying to defend?
"...admitted Coke and other drug user..."
So?
"...who cavorts with American Anarchists..."
Serving on committees with a man whom the Republicans put in control of all the social good works in his district hardly counts as covorting.
"...Socialists..."
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
"...who told all the idiots in America..."
And the clever people as well as you, Webbie baby.
"...that he WILL raise your taxes!!..."
O Noes! More taxes!
Just cos you think it's wrong doesn't make it so.
"...You have to be F*&king Morons to lose to Obama..."
Or a moron to fail to realise that there are other factors involved.
"...which is what they ARE..."
I sense the noise of vessels for the heating of liquids...
"...and are now trying to - 1) find a patsy..."
A patsy for what? Evey single stupid moronic mistake the campaign made?
"...2) keep Palin, a REAL CONSERVATIVE, from becoming the conservative ranks cover girl because SHE IS MORE POPULAR (the huge crowds ARE THE PROOF) than McCanned was!..."
More popular with the ranks of the drooling 'tards who would've voted "McCanned" if he'd stood on the hustings painted blue with feathers coming out of his ass, maybe. But Palin was a large chunk of the Republicans losing that election: the States no longer has a majority of rednecks, and the non-redneck Reps wouldn't touch Palin with *yours*. Elections are won and lost in the middle ground, not by persuading your core constiuency to vote for you. If they are havering, then you're already in deep, deep trouble and you can forget winning.
"...These center-left leaning "RINO" A-holes that McCanned is a big part of ,are afraid of losing their authority in the Republican Party to someone like Palin..."
Because with Palin at its head, the only way the Republican party gets a President is to stage an armed coup.
" .... who is a hell of a lot smarter than Cade and all the other a-holes in the lefty media..."
Hahahahahahaha. Ah-haha ahaahahhaha.
You twat.
"...So you going to censor this too, Reg jerks?"
If you had any sense at all you'd've censored it yourself, but no, lacking the capacity for critical reasoning or any internal censor, you vomit your dogma (look it up; it doesn't mean "bitch") and parochial ignorance for us all to ridicule.
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:09 GMT
Like she was a perfect fit for the folks that still think Fox is a News Channel. Now, where's the evil Murdoch icon??
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:09 GMT
Not entirely sure whether I like Obama, but McPalin just scared hell out of me. Talk about a bunch of illterate psychos!!! Also, did we really want another mentally unstable, gun toting OAP fucking around with "world diplomacy"? Much as I hate to say it, the actions of the Yanks internationally does affect us here in Blighty (negatively mostly).
Webby's off his meds again I see!
Umm, Weeby, you do realise that those "huge crowds" are a) paid for and b) just more brainwashed clueless tits like yourself who slavishly devote themselves to someone who is, frankly, dumber than a houseplant and not as attractive as the Republicans who like to believe.
On second thoughts, if President Obama upsets Webby that much, I think I kinda like the dude!!
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:09 GMT
1. That is why you yanks have some ongoing problems. Your memory is 4-8 years tops. She 'll be back.
2. I see nothing wrong with her not knowing all that. This was why she was chosen and it was the votes McCain and co were going for - the votes of Dumbf*ckistani voters as directed by their Bible-thumping Evangelico-Taleban elders. Have you ever seen a collection of "map of the world" drawings as drawn by American kids from the midwest? Methinks you should. It is an eye opening and highly educational experience. Anyway, she was chosen for "being one of them". Thankfully, the election also showed that "them" are finally on their way to become a minority.
As Leonard Cohen used to say: "Democracy is coming to the USA". Let's hope it is not for a day.
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:09 GMT
The 'Hockey Mom', gun-totin', Alaskan is in the same party as The Shrub, Yes?
So what's new?
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:09 GMT
So he admitted using cok, being a Socialist and whatever else - who cares? Really?
At least he's admitted to these things rather than hid them away. Unlike McCain, who is addicted to fuck knows what and how many different drugs. You know, the ones he gets fom his addicted wife?
All i can say is tough fucking shit, the rest of the US have spoken, and in my eyes made the better choice, no lets hope that, despite how much he sound like a former UK politician 11 years ago, that he doesn't follow in said fool's footsteps and deliver.
Unless he starts world war 3, he really can't be too much worse than Bush, so quit whining.
As for Palin, shouldn't she go back to where she belongs, aka her grave?
Paris, because (as has been mentioned) at least she's travelled, and knows somethings. Should have voted for her......
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:09 GMT
"At least Palin's ignorance was of a *foreign* country..."
Actually, James, Africa is a continent and not a country - which is kind of the whole point.

HERETIC, everyone knows God made the world flat in 7 days, no, wait, that was GWB, he's tried to make it flat with daisycutters, umm, hang on, was it God created daisycutters in 7 days, I'm confused now.....
Paris, because I think she would have gotten McCain (can anyone take a president seriously if he's got frozen fries named after him?) more votes and I'd rather be naylin her than Paylin..
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:18 GMT
techniley it is president elect not president till he is sworn in and has kicked the current loser out of the white house in jan
the worst part of this story when I read it was the comment in the last line of the paper I was reading saying "aids have urged her to run for the presidency in 2012" shudder
Posted Friday 7th November 2008 11:18 GMT
Webster, dear boy, you've never met a REAL Socialist, have you? They're an endangered species. Go out and look for one before it's too late.
Oh, hang on, you probably don't have a passport...
