That will bring you $4000-$5000 monthly rental income... that's about 4x more than your standard NYC actress makes (excluding the catering side jobs).

But Steve's right about 'gender'. Although, Steve, to be fair, as wrong usages go, this is a pretty well-established one. Sarah's easily got convention on her side. Gender as a synonym for sex is, sadly, pretty firmly dug in by now: the Online Etymology Dictionary dates that usage to 1963.

$750k is a nice retirement account back where I grew up (semi-rural Texas) or much of the rest of the US. A nice $200k house and something sensible like a Toyota Corolla bought outright every decade still leaves over $500k. It wouldn't be glamorous, but she also wouldn't necessarily have to work again.
