Maybe they'd just found out that their root certificates were generated on Debian...

This is clearly another sign that the Cylons are preparing their attack on humanity: Roper, and before him Sclavos, discovered that the Cylons are in control of everything that secures the internet. Therefore they had to be disposed of. They now have the means to control the whole human race: (i) online shopping (all females); (ii) net pR0n (all males). It's all in the tea leaves, just stop using the evil monstrosity that are tea bags!

Incidentally amanfromMars has known about this all along but is he our Dalek Caan or Gaius Baltar...

Root certificates? What root certificates?

We're talking about Verisign; the only root *anything* they're associated with is the perpetual root-canal-without-anaesthetic they give their paying victims^H^H^H^H^H^H^Husees...

Why Does it Matter?

Why should we care? Another overpaid CEO goes. Its not good or bad. Never saw any use for Verisign's products anyway. Just make's life more expensive and complicated, there are other ways to create trusted electronic relationships. Its like saying Blahnik, YSL, Versace, Picasso, died, none did anything of value to the greater mass of humanity, just took money off the rich, don't care. Brian Catt
