I'll get my robe and coronet.
Okay, so they weren't elected. And half the time they don't turn up. And when they do they fall asleep and snore loudly. And they're a little bit (ahem) old. And probably quite a bit out of touch with da hoddies.
But they still seem to have more common sense than NuLabour.
As an American, I have only one question in this matter.
...Does the House of Lords ever find common ground?
