Vandalism is still vandalism whether it's seen by a million people or 1.

If "hackers" these days don't know about using proxies or anonymisers to leave fake chat room trails, then perhaps they would better be adverted as 'kiddy hackers', or 'kackers' for short. hmm

It's a bit like the burglar saying "Well Guv! They left the blinking door open!"

Why not make use of their talents in a better way Mr FRANCE. If they have the knowledge to do so why not tell them once small congregate and tell those concern the methods they used and suggest how this could be prevented.
Mr France think about that !

We have been targeted by French hackers in the past. The method they always used was to try and to brute force a guest ftp account.

No surprise there. That'll be because that's the way that they're always done it in France and the fact that it was crap to start with and doesn't work any more isn't going to stop them continuing to use it.
It's a bit like building fortifications on the German border.
