The government has confirmed that it is investigating another "probable" leak of the foot and mouth virus from Pirbright, the site at the centre of the summer's outbreak of the disease. There are two facilities on the Pirbright site: one is the government owned and managed Institute for Animal Health, and the other, Merial, a …
Expect, as last time, lots of noise and finger poining at Merial and then later when the story dies, a burried disclosure that it looks like it's at the government facility..........
Allegedly they sent a sample of every known virus through the post and it's gone missing, but that's just speculation....
There is a probable foot and mouth outbreak in my a**e too, just mindless drones that have run out of pencils to shove up their a**ses

"Allegedly they sent a sample of every known virus through the post and it's gone missing, but that's just speculation...."
Made everyone here laugh.
How many more
How many more leaks does there have to be from pitbright before they close it down and bring in some independant investigators?? It leaked from a valve, sounds like excuses really. You would not catch something escaping from a valve in the CDC it wouldnt make it out of the building.... are these people storing viral samples inside tupperware ?
