A Tory blog has been penetrated by an act of classic web waggery after it leeched bandwidth via a picture used to illustrate a posting about party fees. There was something of an uprising among members last year, with some claiming they were being shafted by the new pricing structure. The Blaby Conservative Future site, run by …
Ha ha ha ha!
As a b3tard myself, I fully endorse this.
Serves the thieving so-and-so(s) right.
Out of interest ...
... as I can't be bothered to keep checking back, will El Reg let us know if they *ever* twig what's happened.
eagle eyed ?
I might wear specs, but I'm no Mr Magoo....
"Eagle-eyed readers will notice the words "vote Labour" underneath the coin."
I spied "B3TA MEN" instead. Do I win a jizz-covered pound for spotting the deliberate error ?
Ignore that. Apparently I'm more of a Mr Magoo that I thought...
Here's to anonymous posting in the future !
The comments are truly hilarious
I thoroughly enjoyed reading through them :)
Tory Price Rise
It's about time the conservatives took a firm hold of their members.
@ not so eagle eyed

Look under the coin, not on the rim
if there's one thing b3tards excel at
it's vandalising the internet with crudely drawn penises
Conversatives in NSFW shock
Is this a "proper" conservative website? I only ask, as they seem to have a sense of humor:
Click the image & look in the shadow of the coin.
It just went 404
Looks like someone noticed... :)
Haha it's gone.
What a bunch of stupid right wing arsewits.
Damn, it's been pulled...
Just when I'd thought of something puerile to add to the splendidly long list of puerile comments too!
And ... I'm spent.
They've just pulled the plug on the whole page. And just as I was about to impersonate Daniel Hayward to demonstrate how insecure the comments are.
Looks like the site's just gone down - I guess somebody spotted it. boo
They've pulled it!
Google cached page here:
awww... it's just been "pulled"
Looks like the game is up... the page was 404 for a while and now appears to be 'invite only'. Shame, some of the comments were pure class...
It's been pulled???
That's just gonna make it even messier no??
oowwww not fair :(
I had it on my screen, laughing heartily, send a link round the office, then wham, it's taken down. I refreshed my page and lost it, now i'm searching through HTML cache to try and find it, but i think i've lost it all - if anyone knows how to retrieve it, please post up - it was on my screen before i refreshed the page.
Quite possibly the funniest slur on conservatism i've ever read.
All hail the power of El Reg!!!
Bollocks, seems to have gone. I've kept a backup of the comments though, which will naturally be appearing on my site shortly.
NaNeil @ B3ta
13:37 - It's taken down.
It was taken down at 13:37 lol. Shame.
On another slight NSFW note, here's an amusing Microsoft Partnership oops/cockup that was shown to a collegue of mine.
BOLLOCKS TO YOUR BLOG, YEAH?
...though I can't see the yolk
It seems that what was on that coin has left another Tory minister with egg on his face.

Today of all days, I didn't go on b3ta at work...
Title should either be "Conservatives' cock-up (n.)", or "Conservatives cock up (v.)". Entertaining article, though, of course!
Blimey, I should think that even an eagle would have trouble spotting the "vote labour" phrase (assuming it could read). I only saw it vaguely by loading it an image editing program and jacking up the gamma/contast to excessive levels. Even then, I probably wouldn`t have recognised it as what it actually is, unless I`d already been told.
What a deferens...
a day makes to your party message.
I'm a b3tan, and I approve of this act... but it needs to be noted that this was posted by one hell of a lurker:
Now where is...
... bigbollocks.com when you need them?
It just so happened...
that I pulled a copy off just before it went down...
