I'm sure my MD has been taking lessons from this guy. In fact, I've just taken on a senior developer job (in favour of my current development manager position) with a different company due to the losing battle of persuading my MD of the virtues of proper people management!
Penny wise, pound mad. That's the problem, cost cutting to the point I'm stuck working and developing on a machine that is fit for nothing more resource-consuming than its bootloader.
Oh well, notice duly served!
Funnily enough, my company is relocating and basically ALL of these things are what's happening... half the desk space I have now, no proper kitchen etc.
