A Belgian lager whose label features a buxom lass in a removable swimsuit* has been removed from sale in the UK, The Publican reports. Rubbel Sexy Lager label featuring young lady in swimsuit Rubbel Sexy Lager - brewed by Brouwerij Huyghe - violated The Portman Group's Code of Practice, the Independent Complaints Panel ruled, …
call me crazy but
surely buying lager with scratch and sniff porn on the side is the furthest thing possible to sexual success. Maybe we ought to implement some kind of parliamentary sex-ed program is they think this in any way constitutes "scoring"
What's a few missing brain cells .......
How very strange that the label would not have men pondering what they were doing getting sozzled rather than starting a party. Brain damage, maybe?
Are they an attractive spectacle, the Sozzled? :-)
Cool hand Luke
I'd expect that this was like those temperature sensitive toys that you get for the kids. The bikini is only visible when the contained beverage is cold. Put your hand on it and the film warms enough to become transparent revealing the pic underneath. In the end, you need either warm beer or an empty bottle for the pic to stay visible. Of course an empty bottle in a freezer doesn't count and Luke is out of luck.
Lager's not ale
They're both beers, but lager isn't ale - in Copenhagen or elsewhere.
I notice that one of the other beer aficionados adds: "The best thing about this beer is the label." Nuff said!
I wonder if there would be a market for a bottled beer with a picture of an ugly woman. So you can tell when you've had enough.
I have seen printing like that on a calendar.
When you rub her underwear with a wet finger it disappears! It was the best calendar I have ever seen and then my boss got hold of it and it disappeared.
I'm not sure if rubbing the bottle with wet fingeres is better than scratching the bottle, but its all fun and games so who cares?
Been There, Done That

We Americans did that *long* ago - The beer: Olde Frothingslosh, the pale stale ale with the foam on the bottom! The picture on the can features the fictional "Fatima Yechburgh":
I don't think the ploy worked, though. How's that saying go? "Beer: Helping ugly women have sex since 1869" or somesuch? Methinks it goes back _much_ farther than that, and I'd wager it's just as helpful for the ladies when presented with the dregs of man-dom. Hell, I'm married, that must be proof! I doubt a picture on a can will stem the tide. ;-)
